Military commander in Shabwa survives assassination attempt in Marib

The staff colonel Mohammed al-Buraiki, a chief of the military police in Shabwa province, survived an assassination attempt in an armed ambush by unidentified gunmen in Marib city.
A military source said to Newsyemen that the military police chief of Shabwa the staff colonel al-Buraiki survived the armed ambush by unknown gunmen downtown Marib.
The staff colonel was in Marib in an official mission, who came to the province upon the directives of the deputy of supreme leader of the Armed Forces at the Ministry of Defense to train new recruiters of the Shabwa's people.
The source added that al-Buraiki's security escorts clashed with the gunmen in which they managed to arrest two attackers, one was injured in the clashes in the scene.
