Women police in Taiz thwart smuggling antiquities

Women Police in Taiz province foiled an attempt to smuggle Yemen's ancient antiquities by a gang in the western part of Taiz province.
The Police referred the gang for an investigation, while the seized monuments were registered upon the presence of the Antiquities Office Director in the province Abdulqudos Ali.
A security source said that the women police were able to seize the gangs' members in women's clothing in possession of large quantities of valuable archaeological artifacts and copper tools that belonging to Taiz National Museum at al-Hangar security checkpoint west Taiz.
