Calm returns to Taiz city after hours of military shelling

Calm returned to Taiz city hours after exchange of artillery shelling between the Army and the Houthi militias.
The Houthi militias pounded heavy artillery shells, tanks, howitzer's shells and Katyusha in the northern and eastern and northeastern areas of the city.
The Houthi shelling targeted Usaiferah area, Jabal Jarh area, Wadi al-Qadi area, Kalabah area, and Presidential palace areas.
The army repelled the Houthi attacks, targeting Houthi sites in Sofitel, 50th St. and north the air defense areas in the province.
No injuries were reported in the military clashes between the army and the Houthi militias.
On the other hand, the clashes between two armed gangs in Wadi al-Qadi and al-Manakh district killed a civilian, two gunmen and a security man, and wounded four others, including a civilian.
