Houthi shelling targets Taiz neighborhoods

Taiz city experienced on Wednesday an exchange of artillery fire between the gunmen of the Houthi militias and the forces of the National Army.
Local source said to Newsyemen that the exchange of artillery fire were in the fronts of al-Zonoj and the air defense.
The source added the exchange of fire also erupted in the northern front in Usaiferah area, coinciding with violent clashes between the security crackdown and gunmen in al-Manakh neighborhood.
Local sources added that the Houthi militias shelled about 15 artillery shells on the areas of Jabal Jara and Wadi al-Qadi, and other areas.
The Houthi shelling came in coincided with students came out of schools.
Newsyemen made phone calls at al-Safwa, al-Rawdha, and al-Thawra hospitals near contact lines over casualties, confirming that no injuries were recorded till 2:30 pm.
The clashes between gunmen and security forces came amid the killing of a civilian named al-Zaeem in al-Manakh neighborhood.
