Hadramout's teachers threaten to return to major strike

Dozens of teachers in Hadramout province, east Yemen on Thursday staged a protest to demand their financial dues.
Teachers gathered at the government's building in Sayoun city, and raised slogans demanding the disbursement of salaries' allowances.
Teachers have threatened to return to a mass strike if their demands are not met by the government.
Hadramout's teachers in the Valley and the Desert, staged a full-scale strike last September to demand higher salaries, halted the strike after the government responded to a 30 percent salary an increase, and promised to give allowances.
