Houthis threaten teachers who are still on strike in Sana’a

The Houthi group launched threats against teachers who are still on strike at schools in the Capital Sana'a, if the strike was not lifted for the second week.

Last week, teachers in most schools in the capital Sana'a continued an open-ended strike at the beginning of the second semester.

The teachers who are still on strike, protesting the continued the stopping of their salaries for three years.

The education minister at the Houthi government Yahya al-Houthi described teachers on strike as  "mercenaries and Dawaesh."
