Hadi's government imposed new taxes on goods imports in the last two months at a rate of 5 percent of the value of the commercial imports.

The Hadi's government abandoned the sovereign State resources for the benefit of merchants who are close to the presidential circles.

An importer said to Newsyemen that the Hadi's government takes 5 percent of total value of imported goods, and does not allow them to enter to Aden port only after the payment is full paid that contradicts the law that imposes a tax after sales "sales tax, and according to the Customs declaration in force for decades.

The importer added that the amount paid to the government on the basic prices of the commodity, the civilians eventually bear the burden of paying these amounts.

Some criticized the government's actions to boost resources from a citizen's pocket who lives in a difficult financial situation, as the government has the alternatives and the opportunities.

The government abandoned the most important resources of the sovereign state of oil and gas in Marib province that have not been paid to the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden province.
