The Republican Guard announced the death of one of its commanders, yesterday, Friday, after the victories achieved by the joint forces in the Hays district, south of Hodeidah governorate.

According to the sources, Colonel Pilot Shehab Mahmoud died of a Houthi missile attack.

Shehab, who was born in the capital, Aden, Dar Saad district, was the staff of the Third Brigade, Guards of the Republic.

In a tweet of condolences for the martyr, Abdel Wahab Nimran, the journalist and correspondent of Al-Yaman Al-Youm channel in Mocha wrote:

May God have mercy on the companion of the path and the heroic goal, Colonel Shehab Mahmoud.

This hero was one of the participants in the liberation of Mawza’, Al-Wazi’ah, Tabbat Al-Khazan and Al-Mafraq four years ago, after which he went with the heroes to liberate the coast to the heart of the city of Hodeidah.

Today, he is martyred while liberating a new area from the Erlo militia.
