Tribal sources warn: Houthi Houthi crawl on the ability of southern Marib
English - Sunday 21 June 2020 الساعة 10:18 amTribal sources have warned of the seriousness of the situation on the borders of the southern Marib governorate, with the Houthi militia continuing to mobilize to the outskirts of Radman District and trying to deploy to the Mahlia District, adjacent to it.
The sources pointed out that, despite the breakdown of the militia's advance towards Al-Nahma, the first areas of the Mahaleya district of the Marib Governorate by tribesmen and military units, on Friday, the danger remains on the directorate.
The sources said that the Houthi crowds opened a new front west of Qaniyah and managed - for hours - to take control of Jabal al-Falaq and al-Domani at the outskirts of Radman and the areas of Aba al-Dhban, al-Samina and al-Bayadah, up to Uqayb al-Raqim, which overlooks the Nahma areas of the Mahlia Directorate; before they are broken and brought back to the edge of Radman.
The sources suggested that the Houthi militia would repeat its attacks on Mahlia, given the continued arrival of its reinforcements and crowds in the area, noting that the existing army units are not sufficient to repel other attacks on Mahlia, in addition to a difference in the number of equipment between them and the militia.
This comes in light of accusations by military units from the Al-Bayda axis of withdrawing from highlands on the outskirts of Radman, on Friday, which enabled the Houthis to control them.
