Omar Mohammed, former director of the Central Bank's branch in Al-Mekha, stressed the urgent need for a bank that preserves its financial resources.

He told Newsymen that the importance of the central bank's presence lies in the fact that government institutions and executive offices are fully complete in the directorate and that they have reactivated their activities since the directorate's liberation.

He added that the central bank's presence in Al-Mekha is important in preserving financial resources from state institutions, as well as facilitating dealing with the Central Bank in Aden.

He explained that activating the bank's role in Al-Mekha will provide salaries and cash flow and restore the banking cycle in addition to restoring trust between it and commercial banks and banks as banking banks.

He attributed the bank's failure to activate it because it was not evacuated by the army forces, which are still taking up an administrative office.

He pointed out that the building needs to be repaired, especially its main gate and parts of it partially damaged after nearby areas were bombed during the presence of Houthi militias.
