Houthi militia released Sheikh Hunin Qutaina, after about 20 days of forced detention in the Sana'a investigation prison, for unknown reasons.

Tribal sources revealed that the Houthi militia dispatched leaders in its ranks, Abu Ali al-Hakim, Abu Malik al-Fishi, and a number of its leaders to arbitrate Qutaina against the background of the latest detention.

Hundreds of people from Al Mahwit Governorate, from which Qutaina came from, expressed solidarity with hin, waving to withdraw and summon their sons involved in the fronts of the Houthi militia,

Tribal elders from Al Mahwit Governorate said that Qutaina arbitration is only for the purpose of absorbing the anger of the people of Al Mahwit Governorate, for fear of the withdrawal of fighters from the Houthi fronts, and their involvement in the ranks of the army and national resistance forces in the West Coast and Al Hodeidah governorate, adjacent to Al Mahwit Governorate geographically.

A tribal meeting in solidarity with Qutaina said that the people of Al Mahwit and Sana'a governorates realize that the Houthi militia is exploiting the sheikhs and tribal destinations to achieve the interests of the group “and after the completion of these interests, they will be eliminated.” These Qutaina students demanded to determine his position on the revolution, unity, republic, and democracy, confirming their stand Behind him.

The Houthi militia had appointed Qutaina as the governor's position for the governorate of Sana'a, before he was removed from the post in September 2019, and his supervisor to the governorate, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, was appointed in his place.

Qutaina was excluded, following a dispute with the Houthi leader Abdullah al-Hakim known as (Abu Ali al-Hakim), on the looting of large lands of citizens in the governorate of Sanaa.

Earlier, the Houthi militia arrested its former governor in Sana'a, Hunin Qutaina , on the grounds of a land issue in the Saraf area, east of Sanaa.

Before his dismissal from the hypothetical position, the Houthi militia, a leader in its ranks, questioned Katina, pending the case of the liquidation of Ibrahim al-Houthi, the brother of the leader of the group, who was killed in an apartment in the city of Hadda, south of Sanaa, in mysterious circumstances.
