The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said that there is "an international silence towards Iran's behavior in the Middle East region."

In his speech to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva on Monday, the Foreign Minister affirmed, "The Kingdom's commitment to support disarmament efforts in the Middle East region."

The Saudi minister added, "The attack on the oil installations in Saudi Arabia posed a serious threat to supplies," stressing that the Houthi attacks indicate a lack of seriousness in resolving the Yemeni crisis.

He expressed Riyadh's concern about the "stalemate and stumbling block facing the tasks of the Conference on Disarmament".

The minister stated that "Saudi Arabia has signed international agreements and national legislation in order to activate the efforts of disarmament programs."
